I tell stories, teach others to tell stories, and read/write about how to do both better.
I am an English professor at a small college in the suburbs of Austin, TX, where I live with my husband and two poodles. I write across genres, but most often as a playwright and poet. My plays have toured Louisiana and have been performed in New York City, Los Angeles, Austin, Houston, and at Georgia Southern University, where I was a keynote artist for the 2013 Patti Pace Performance Festival. I am a proud member of the Dramatists Guild, ScriptWorks, and the Writers' League of Texas with work that has appeared in NonBinary Reivew and been published by Routledge, Next Stage Press, and Scriptworks.
