I tell stories, teach others to tell stories, and read/write about how to do both better.

I am a proud member of the Dramatists Guild, ScriptWorks, and the Writers' League of Texas.  My plays have been published by ScriptWorks and Next Stage Press.  They have toured Louisiana and have been performed in New York City, Los Angeles, Austin, Houston, and at Georgia Southern University, where I was a keynote artist for the 2013 Patti Pace Performance Festival.  I am new to fiction and poetry.  My first short story was published in Nonbinary Review Issue #36: Heredity in 2024. I am currently working on a poetry chapbook.

I also write English language arts curriculum, which has been published by Routledge in a series from the Center for Gifted Education at William and Mary.  I teach composition and literature courses at a small college in the North Austin suburbs, where I live with my husband, Derek, and two dogs, Holden and Olivia.
